About Sancreed village hall

Brining out the pig at the Sancreed village hall annual pig walk

The Parish of Sancreed covers a wide area, has many hamlets and larger clusters of houses including Newbridge, Drift and Sancreed itself.

The Hall is in the centre of Sancreed close to the ancient Church, nestling in the trees on the lower slopes of the wild Beacon.

We welcome everyone, to rent the Hall for private functions and to come to the many events organised by the Village Hall Committee, one of which is the Open Afternoon 2-5pm every Thursday.

A monthly Gardening Club meets the first Tuesday, in the winter at the Hall and visits gardens in the summer.

Early in July our Pig Walk has become a local tradition. The Food and Craft Market is just before Christmas and this year we had our first Spring Show. A lively Plant and Produce Market is held in mid-May.

The new well insulated roof and new heating have made the Hall comfortable even in the winter. Now we are fund raising for double glazed windows.
